Hit the Road, Jack!

Oh yeah, in just a few short hours I will be on my way to go see Papa Pat and Grancilla! Mommy said we are going to go to their new house so I can romp, since there isn't any furniture in there yet...I can't wait! I bet Papa and Grancilla won't believe how big I've gotten...I do so much more than I did the last time I saw them...I crawl, I pull up, I sit myself up, I'm all over the place, and I've got a new tooth! Hopefully we go somewhere to eat where there are other young ladies so I can show my new top tooth off! It makes me look so handsome!

I think we'll get back to town sometime on Wednesday, and then I think we're going to turn around and go to Bowling Green for part of the weekend! I know we're going to visit the Hewitts for a bit, and they are excited to see all of us! We're excited to see them, too!

All in all, the next few days should be quite an adventure!!

Tanned and Rested

Here is the view from the condo we stayed in while we visited Florida! We could see the bay, a pond, a golf hole and the Baytowne Wharf...it really was a nice view! I think we were about to go out and get some supper in this picture, but I can't remember for sure! Whatever it was, I know we had a really good time!

We're hoping for more rain tonight...our lawns and the farmer's crops really need it bad! I just hope that we don't get severe weather, because then mommy gets scared, we have to go to the basement, and sometimes our stuff gets messed up...that's no good!

Ready or Not, Here I Come

I can't wait to go see Papa Pat and Grancilla on Tuesday! I know we're going to have a great time in Newburgh, and I have a great Father's Day gift to give to Papa (even though it is late!!). I think I can throw chairs when I'm in Indiana, just like Bobby Knight did, because Papa said I could...don't tell mommy that I said that because I don't want to get in trouble!!

We had a great time in Indy with Aunt Tiffany...the good news is, I'll get to see her and my cousins real soon because they are all coming for my baptism!! It's going to be a blast!

Well, I've got to go to bed...goodnight everyone!

When I Sleep, I SLEEP!!

I don't like to take naps, because then I'll miss all of the good stuff that is going on around me...but, when I do finally drift off to sleep, I fall into a sleeping stupor!

I'm in Indianapolis right now with mommy! We are visiting with Aunt Tiffany...I know we'll have fun, and mommy will get to eat some good food, too!

I think we are going to someone's wedding this weekend, so that should be fun! I bet daddy hopes I fall asleep like I am in this picture, because if I'm not napping, then I'll be talking to everyone at the wedding!!

Dog Days of Summer

Wow, am I worn out! I just got done sleeping for 2 hours...I was worn out from going to Tamara and Brady's pool, and then grocery shopping, with mommy. I needed a nap bad, and I took one!!

I wish it would rain some...daddy is having to water the grass because our yard looks the worst it ever has...daddy hates it, but he is determined to get it back to looking good again!!

Got to go...mommy and daddy are taking me for a walk...YES!!

Mom

Mommy took me to the pool today, and we had a nice time! I think we're both going to be able to keep our tans really nice and dark. I don' t think daddy will be so lucky since he works inside all day! I guess he'll just have to make up for it on the weekends!

I can't wait until the Fourth of July so we can see some fireworks, just like we did at Baytowne Wharf in Florida! One of the pictures in the slideshow shows me and daddy looking up at the fireworks...I really did like them a lot, even though they were loud!

Crash and Burn

We made it back safe and sound from our Florida trip, but man am I worn out!! Mommy and me just crashed and burned a few hours ago...I bet we end up taking at least a 3 hour nap!!

Daddy is going to post some slide shows sometime today, so be sure to check out that portion of the blog!!

We had a great time, we all got some pretty good sun, and we're glad to be home! I'll be seeing you and talking to all of you throughout the week! I bet mommy will take me to the pool everyday so we can both keep our tans!

Beach Bum

OK, so daddy hasn't posted since we've been in Florida, and he says he is so very sorry! He has good reasons, but that is no excuse! I told daddy that he has to get beach pictures on the web ASAP, so he is going to post either tonight or sometime tomorrow morning!!

Just so everyone knows, the weather has been pretty good and we are having a great time!! We have spent a lot of time at the pool...I liked the beach, but there isn't a bunch for me to do down there since I can't walk yet!! I love the pool, though!! If I was a golfer we could go play everyday...there are 4 golf courses in our place, and they are NICE!!

I think we're going down to Grayton Beach tonight...we'll eat at The Red Bar, then go visit Seaside and Rosemary Beach!! That will be a blast!! I think we may go to the outlet mall tonight, too, so mommy can buy me a bunch of nice clothes (what a surprise!!)

I've seen a bunch of cute 7 and 8 month old girls, but we can't walk yet so all we do is blabber at each other and beat our hands on our strollers...at least they all knew I was talking to them by the way I squealed...Talk to everyone later!

Here is a picture of me and Grandma and Great Aunt Ruthie...you can tell by my face that I was having a good time! Daddy went and bought me some new shirts tonight for the Florida trip, plus my Teva sandals came in the mail today! They are little bit too big, but they still look really cool, and I will grow into them soon!!

Daddy hopes it rains tonight so the grass will get green again. It is hard to keep the lawn looking well when it is so hot and dry...everyone cross your fingers and hope for rain!

Look into the Future

Here is a picture of me and Reed in the Mouser front yard...we were having a great time! Think about the two of us in about 3 years....we definitely won't be sitting any more! Think even farther into the future, when we are about 16 years old...who knows what we'll be doing then, but if we stay this handsome, then watch out!!

Take Me Out to the Ballgame

Here is a picture of a bunch of us at the Louisville Bats game several weeks ago. It is hard to believe that it was kind of chilly in this picture, because right now it is miserable outside! I was just excited to hang out with Great Aunt Janet and Uncle JP at the game...we had a great time! I wanted JP to go grab the homerun ball that landed in front of us on the lawn, but he didn't want to get up, and neither did daddy...I guess that was best, because some other old dude got in trouble for running over a little kid to get the homerun ball...daddy can just go buy me a ball and that will be fine with me!!

I hope we go back to the ballpark this summer...I really like baseball, and I like seeing Great Aunt Janet!

Big Boy!

Mommy and me stayed home all day today and relaxed...it was just too darn hot outside to do much of anything!! It sounds like it is going to stay just as hot for the next 7 days or so...I guess we'll just have to suck it up, get hot, and go to the pool tomorrow! The good news is, it is the pool, so we can get in the water and cool off...yes!

We only have 8 days left until we leave for our vacation in Florida! I can't wait!! Mommy ordered me a pair of Teva sandals to wear, so I know I'll look good for the ladies (I guess you can call a cute 7 month old girl a "lady"?). Anyway, I know that mommy will spend all kinds of time packing good looking clothes for me...she always wants me to look like a dude! I can't wait!!!!

Funtopia!!!

We went to Funtopia this past weekend and had a great time! I got to swing, go down the slide, go up and down the jungle gym, and all kinds of other stuff...we had so much fun! I think that daddy really wants to take me to Saunders Springs to walk on the trails...I bet that would be a blast!

I'm really sorry this picture is SO late...it was taken at Churchill Downs when Uncle JP was in town. The weather was beautiful, as I'm sure you can tell, and we had a great time! I don't think daddy and JP won any money, but we all still had a nice time! Can you believe that we left the races and went across town to the Louisville Bats game!! I'll have pictures of that posted very soon (daddy finally learned how to get the pictures off the new camera that we bought mommy for Mother's Day...good job daddy, finally!!!
