I've had a bad day, since I found out that Patrick Patterson is out for the season! I'm over it now, and I'm ready for the Cats to beat up on the Volunteers and their hothead coach, Bruce Pearl!GO CATS!!! BEAT VOLS!!
Keeping track of a growing Fightin' Irish fan.
I'm so excited to go to Bowling Green tomorrow! Mommy and daddy are going to put me in the pool t the hotel that we are staying at, and I can't wait! I love taking my bath, so I know I'm going to love getting in the pool, too. Mommy got me a float today, so I know I will be safe. I just hope that the water isn't too cold for me.
Guess what? My mommy got to stay home with me again today because she had a snow day.....yaaahhh!! I slept until 8:30 this morning because I was tired, but when I woke up it was time to do some chores around the house. Sometimes mommy will strap me into the Baby Bjorn backpack and sweep the floor...I like to walk around with her, and I like the sound of the vacuum cleaner. We had a great time today playing and working around the house.
I had a great trip last night to Owensboro...we went to visit Papa Pat and Cilla! We ate at Colby's, a nice restaurant in downtown Owensboro, and boy was it good! Mommy had Mahi Mahi and daddy had pork chops...they both ate really fast, so the food must have been pretty good! Papa Pat and Cilla really had a great time holding me and talking to me...they couldn't believe how big I've gotten since Christmas. I bet Papa took a million pictures of me with his camera...that thing really lights up the room! Papa said it was all right for me to throw a chair when I come visit him in Indiana (since Bobby Knight threw chairs when he was the coach at IU)....Papa is so funny! I can't wait until I get big enough to swing a golf club....I know Papa and Cilla will take me to play golf somewhere, since they love it so much! I really liked Cilla's hair, too....she looked really pretty! I can't wait until I get to see Papa Pat and Cilla again!
Well, here we are coming towards the end of the basketball regular season, and the Wildcats are still alive! GG got me fired up for the game yesterday, and we pulled out a tough win...yeah!! I think we'll be able to beat Ole Miss this week, and if we can knock off Florida and "Baby Billy", then we're in. It's really too bad that the Cards are going to make the dance....hopefully we can make it farther in the tournament than them. That would be sweet!
I am worn out! All the excitement from today's UK basketball game made me SO tired that I just went ahead and took a nap in my new high chair. Oh yeah, mommy and daddy bought me a new high chair last night, and I love it! I can sit up high in the air and play with my toys and watch what is going on. I think this is much better than laying in the floor. Anyway, I was pumped that the Wildcats beat the Razorbacks today....just a few more wins and we may make the NCAA tournament after all!
Everyone keep their fingers crossed...I want it to snow tomorrow so my mommy can stay home with me on Friday!
Man, I can't believe how close I am to being able to start crawling! I know that I need to learn how to move my arms and legs at the same time so I can really get moving, but WOW am I doing a good job with my knees and legs! I can really push myself up with my legs and inch myself along....if only I could get my arms working as well as my legs....they're just not quite strong enough yet. I guess since I'm only 18 weeks old I shouldn't be crawling yet anyway, but I really want to. My daddy laughs at me when I'm trying so hard...I grunt and yell and get red in the face because I'm trying my best to crawl.
Man, I had a great time in Indianapolis this weekend! My Aunt Tiffany's house is COOL! We had a great time hanging out and going shopping in the big city. Mommy took me to a nice restaurant to eat, and she bought me a sweet outfit to wear after we ate. Aunt Tiffany has a treadmill in her house, and mommy really liked that. She wants to buy one for our house, but she still has a membership at the gym. Maybe she'll get one for her birthday gift from me this year! I'm glad we had a good time in Indianapolis. Hopefully on our next visit my cousins Grace, Carson and Preston will be there!
