Ho, ho, ho! I've learned how to say "Santa" and I'm getting really, really excited about Christmas! Mommy and daddy keep telling me about how Santa will bring me presents on Christmas, and we have the house decorated really neat, and my bedroom has a little tree and Christmas figures, and I'm just really excited about the Christmas holiday!

Thanksgiving with Papa Pat

I had a blast with Papa Pat on Thanksgiving Day! We got to eat and walk around in the yard and play and romp...it was just a really good time! When I got back to Etown I kept saying "Papa" too...I'm a smart little booger!

The bad news is, Papa and Grancilla both got sick after we left Newburgh...I swear, we were carrying a KILLER BUG!!

Almost Here

Huber Farm Fun

After we got done at Michelle and George's wedding, we drove north to Corydon, Indiana. We stayed in a hotel that night and watched the Fightin Irish of Notre Dame thrash the Washington Huskies for the fifth win of their season! That was great! We woke up the next morning and drove back south for a day of fun at Huber Farm! We got to ride a wagon twice...once to feed the goats, another time to go to the pumpkin patch! We also ate at the buffet, looked at the big pig and did other fun stuff! The weather was beautiful and we had loads of fun!!!

We had a great time at Michelle and George Beuhler's wedding on Saturday! Mommy, daddy and Michelle all met back when mommy and Michelle started teaching in the Hardin County school system...that was long before I was born! Anyway, Michelle has been a friend of our family for some time now, and we just had a great time going to the wedding in Floyd Knobs! If this is what all weddings are like then I want to go to more of them!

I had a great birthday week! Everything about it was fun! I had so much fun with all of my family and friends on Saturday...it was a great day!

Guess what? Tomorrow is my 1st Birthday! I'm going out to eat at Mr. Gattis with mommy and daddy and grandma and granddad...we'll have loads of fun! After we get done eating we are coming back to our house to open presents...sweet! I don't get to have cake until Saturday at my birthday party, and that is fine with me because I've never had cake before! Can you believe it? I'm going to be one tomorrow...holy cow!

JHHS Game

I went with mommy, daddy and Larry to the John Hardin football game this past Friday night and I loved it! I got to see the cheerleaders and listen to the band play the Notre Dame Victory March and see some quality high school football! I got to get in the driver's seat, and I got to get back in the part of the fire engine, and I got to look at all of the parts of the fire truck on the outside! I'm all over the place, and I can't walk all the way yet....so, when I learn how to walk real good, watch out! I didn't want to nap this morning, but after I started watching my Bear in the Big Blue House video I was out like a light in less than 5 minutes!

Mommy and daddy have been working on my birthday party for a while now, so I guess we're having a pretty big party....I hope they have one of those bust-throughs that football players run through before a high school game....that would be fun to run through at the party.

Only a few more days until the weekend...here's to hoping that UK will take care of business against crybaby Spurrier and South Carolina while ND gets a big win on the road against UNC. Go Cats! Go Irish!

Starting to Cool Down

I'm glad that the temperature is starting to cool down a little bit and that we are getting a little rain! Finally! It is only a few short days until my first birthday, and I can't wait! I think mommy and daddy may have bought me a few presents over the last few days, but I'm not sure what they are...I bet I'll like them, though! I can't wait to see all of the people that we have invited...we'll have a great time!

Man, I am pumped up that ND is 4-1! They have a very big game this weekend against the tar rats of North Carolina, but I think our young team will be ready to roll! I just hope we can hit Butch Davis' team right in the mouth and let him know who the real boss is! It should be a good game since both teams are young and talented...I just hope we're the better team!

UK came so darn close this weekend, too! Coach Brooks really is building a nice program in Lexington...now we've got to take the next step and beat South Carolina and Arkansas...until we win these games, we'll never be true contenders in the SEC.

As for me, I took my first steps while I was in Barnes and Noble this weekend! I'm just glad that mommy and daddy were with me to see it. I know that they are going to try and get some video of me walking this week...give me a few more weeks and I should be alot better at this walking thing!

Tailgating Rules!

Man, I had a great time yesterday! The weather was beautiful, the company was good, the food was delicious...it was just a really good day! Mommy and daddy were wearing their UK shirts and I was wearing my WKU shirt so we had all the bases covered...and when it got cold during the game, mommy put on my hooded UK sweatshirt to keep me warm. I hope we go to more games soon because I like the tailgating and football action!

I am pumped that the Irish got a big win today against Purdue...the team is so young and talented that I think we'll keep seeing ups and downs, but I think as the team gets more experienced we'll see more ups than downs! The next few years could be very exciting for the Fightin Irish!

Heat Wave

I'm about sick and tired of this heat wave! We started the fall season yesterday and it is still almost 90 degrees outside...yuck! I'm kind of hoping for some cool, brisk days where I don't get all hot and sticky when I go outside...and it is just so dry that I can't even walk barefoot in the grass because it hurts my feet...that is just right down ridiculous!

I think I'm getting a new UK tshirt sometime this week to wear to the game this Saturday! I think I should be wearing a WKU shirt since that is mommy and daddy's alma mater, but I think they are big UK fans so we're going to wear our blue.

Only 3 more days until the week is over...yes!

I'm kind of sad, but kind of real happy too...ND didn't play very well this past weekend, but the US won the Ryder Cup behind the great play of two Kentuckians named JB Holmes and Kenny Perry...so, the weekend of sports started kind of rough, but it sure did end really sweet! I guess I have to be happy because I really like golf, and they put on a great show at Valhalla! Maybe someday I'll play golf like those guys...you never know!

I am excited that I get to go to a football game this weekend! We are going to tailgate in Lexington before the UK vs. WKU game...I bet we'll have a big time blast! I think the weather will be a little too warm, but that will be ok because we get to hang out with cool people, eat good food and see some SEC football..that will be loads of fun.

Also, as you can see, I can now stand up with my shoes on and hold on with one hand while drinking out of my sippy cup with the other hand...I'm like a young Zeus!

Great Start!!

Hip hip Hooray! The Fightin' Irish and Wildcats are off to a roaring great start and I'm pumped up! I always get excited when ND is able to put a good whopping on the Michigan Skunkbears, and they did just that this past weekend! Plus, UK was able to start the season 3-0...I don't remember the last time that happened! I really hope the season keeps going this way, because if it does, then this house will be real happy all fall!

We went to see Papa Pat and Grancilla last night in Owensboro and we had a great time again! We ate a restaurant named Cheddars and we stayed back in a room that was like a circus because there were so many loud kids and babies back there...wow! I fit right in, and ate like I'd never seen food before. Grancilla and Papa brought a bunch of clothes that they bought for Molly...they were all pink and girlly...I'll have to get used to having a little sister in the house!

It Takes a Village

I think I'm living up to the statement, "It takes a village to raise a child" because I've had all kinds of people watch me this week, and I love it! I've gotten to be with Donna, my babysitter and Aunt Janet and Mary Lou, and Aunt Patty and mommy and daddy and other people too! I just really like getting to see all these people and have a great time with them! They all really help me to learn new things!

Also, the weather has kind of cooled down a little bit, and I like that a lot. It sure makes it easier to go outside and have a little fun!

I'm glad my daddy made it back home safe from South Bend! I know he was excited that the Irish got a win, but I think he was a little nervous about how close the game was. I think he wants to wait and see how well they play this weekend against Michigan before he'll really know how good they'll be this year! I'm just glad they won the game! I'm also glad that the Cats won again....they may have another winning season!

I'm starting to say more words and make more sounds....you wouldn't believe the language skills I am developing! I am trying to say uh-oh, yuck and quack! I'm really trying hard!

Man, I can't wait for the weekend! I know that daddy is going out of town for the Notre Dame game, but I'm still pumped because me and mommy are going to watch the game on tv...we may even see daddy and granddaddy, and Uncle JP and Larry since they are sitting in the end zone right beside the student section...I know they are going to have a blast! Plus, mommy is having friends over tomorrow night, so I know that some of my little buddies will be here and we can talk and play and have a big time!

I was excited to get to see Uncle JP today...we played and had a good time! He couldn't believe how big I've gotten, and that I'm trying to walk and all of that stuff...I wish I could see him more!

I Hate Hotdogs!!

Mommy wanted to get this picture of me with the Sonic Hotdog this past weekend at the Heartland Parade...needless to say, I'm not too fond of big hotdogs on roller skates! Usually I'm not too scared of anything, but this big blob of processed meat and bread just kind of wigged me out! Anyway, I recovered pretty quickly and had an overall nice time at the parade. I just wish it wasn't so darned hot...isn't it almost fall?

Daddy leaves for the Notre Dame game here in a few days, and I know he is getting really excited about that! I bet the Irish win by a bunch of points and start to look like the team that I know they can be! I'm also pumped that the Cats dominated the Cards...that is what I'm talking about!

Well, the long weekend is here, and that has me fired up! I get to hang out with mommy and daddy all weekend and that will be great! I think we're going to look for furniture for Molly so that will be fun, plus I'm sure we'll watch a little football too! Daddy got tickets for the ND game next weekend, so he is excited...he's going with Uncle JP, Granddad and Larry (that is a motley crew) so I know they'll have fun! I'll be watching on TV...sweet!

I went outside tonight to burn off some steam and I ended up pushing my fire engine almost all the way to the Grandma and Granddads house! I was really getting with it! I hope I'm walking on my own pretty soon, because I just can't wait to get to moving all over the place!

Linebacker Mentality

I'm learning how to walk...I've told you that before, but I haven't told you that since I've started to learn walking during the beginning of the football season I've also developed a linebacker's mentality! If something gets in my way, then I'm going to push it over, run it over....just maul it! I'm eating like a bear, I'm sleeping like a log, and I'm talking like a field general...I'm a little linebacker, so don't get in my way (unless you want to give me a hug, or if you have some food, or if you want to take me for a ride in my car)!

I told you the countdown was on...only 4 days till kickoff for the Cats...plus, only 11 for the Irish!

I think my football countdown has officially begun...only 5 more days until UK beats the tar out of Louisville! And only 12 more days until the Fightin Irish get back on the field and start their march towards a National Championship (in 2009...not this year)!

I'll be watching games starting on Thursday...those teams that ND has to play this season...I think it's going to be a great season, and I just can't wait to get it started!

Brady's Baptism

OK, so Brady and I look a little miserable in this picture, but we were still having a good time, I promise! I think we were a little miserable because it was so close outside that night...daddy was sweating almost all night!

I know that Brady had fun because he got to ride around in my car! He had both of his hands on the steering wheel and was smiling real big smiles! I know he was really liking the motion and the sound...I bet he'll get one of those cars like mine sometime real soon!

I've got to tell everyone that I'm just about walking...I can push around my fire engine while I walk behind it...I've stood up on my two feet all by myself, and I've taken a few creaky steps by myself, so it won't be long! I'm a fast learner, and I'm strong!

Samuel of the Corn

Sorry I've been away from the blog site this past week! I'm back now, though, and I should have some pretty good posts coming up!

So, this past week I went and picked corn out at Betty and Larry Jagger's house...now we have corn for a long, long time! Mommy even froze several bags of corn so we can grub on the yummy yellow stuff during the fall and winter! Now that is what I call sweet! I know that daddy is happy about this because he loves fresh corn!

I also went to Brady Abell's baptism on Saturday evening...that was really fun! There were four kids that were baptized on Saturday...on my baptism I was the only one there...it was fun to see everyone at the baptism, and I was talking like I usually do! After the service we drove over to daddy's old stomping grounds, Hodgenville, and enjoyed some food and fun at the Newton's house...there were a bunch of people there and we were eating around the pool...I got to watch people swimming and playing cornhole and talking about sports...fun, fun, fun!

So now the next week is about to start....mommy and daddy get off next Monday for Labor Day and I can't wait for that! Hope everyone has a great week!

Here is a picture of mommy and me at the zoo...I think these were goats or something like that. Anyway, I got to pat them a few times, and their hair felt different than it does in the books that I have! I liked being in the cage with them to see them live...pretty cool!

Well, the week is about to start again, and I think it is going to get hot....I'm just hoping that we'll get some rain soon...it is just too dry!

I know that I am getting excited about the football season! Daddy got tickets to the WKU/UK game on Sept. 27...I think we will have a real good time at the game! ND's first game is on Sept. 6, only three weekends away...I'm sure hoping this season is better than last!

This will be a short post because I am tired...daddy wore me out tonight taking me to the playground, for a long walk, and romping with me in the basement!

I started saying "momma" today...I think it is my new favorite word. Mommy is really happy that I'm saying this...she likes it a lot.

Mommy, daddy and I are happy to announce that mommy will be having a baby girl! I'm going to have a little sister to love and take care of and play with! Mommy and daddy are going to name her Molly Claire Bryan...we're an Irish family through and through!

Animal, Animals Everywhere

I had a blast at the zoo! I couldn't believe how many people were there riding around in wagons and cars like mine! I think mommy and daddy are going to get me a wagon, too, because they were awesome! The animals at the zoo were awesome too!! I couldn't believe how big the rhinoceros was, and the elephant too! They were real cool looking, but I couldn't touch them like I wanted to. I know that they would have hurt me, though, if I got too close so I was happy just to see them at a distance!

Mommy took some really good pictures of all the animals and I think daddy is going to make a slide show of the animal pictures so everyone can see them. I hope mommy makes me an animal picture book, too, so I can look at all of the animals whenever I want.

We ate at Chuck E. Cheese, too, and that was a blast! I had a great time eating and seeing Chuck E. Cheese and riding on the rides...maybe I can go to an amusement park sometime soon since I liked the rides so much!

One last thing...tomorrow we will find out what mommy is having, a boy or a girl!! I can't wait!

Zoo Time

Guess what?!? Mommy and daddy are taking me to the Louisville Zoo today! We are going to have a blast!! I think we are going to take my big car so I can ride around the zoo in style...plus, I'll be able to see a whole lot more of the zoo in my car then I could if I were riding in my stroller. Anyway, I can't wait to see all the animals, especially the monkeys! I hope there is a cow there because mommy is always reading me books that have cows in them, and she makes the cow noise, so I want to see a real cow and hear the noise it makes!

The weather today is supposed to be great, so I don't think we'll get too hot. After we're done visiting the zoo, I think we may go to eat at Chuck E. Cheese!! Wow, this is going to be one great day!

Aunt Janet sent mommy and daddy a cd of pictures from when I was 3 days old...3 DAYS OLD!! Can you believe that I was this little...holy cow! My pants almost come up to my chest in this picture...mommy and daddy said I was born a big boy, but I sure don't look big in this picture! I think I kind of look like a cute little baby bird being held by a mommy bird!

Anyway, thanks Aunt Janet for sending the pictures...I really like them! Also, thanks for the tomatoes from this weekend, and for walking with us back into the woods...I had a blast!! Mommy has been grubbing on the 'maters...she really likes them, but daddy hates them! Hope to see you soon! I love you!

Summer's Over :(

Well, mommy has to go to work tomorrow, so I guess my first summer break is officially over :( I really wish I was better prepared for this, but I'm not...I'll just have to get used to mommy and daddy being at work again, just like last year. Summer break was fun, though, so I can't wait until the end of May gets here and we can have another fun summer break!! Plus, next summer I will have a playmate to romp with, so we will have a real blast next summer!

I guess now I get to look forward to college football and the baseball playoffs...remember last year I was just a little bitty booger but I still watched the World Series with daddy, and it was awesome! I'm hoping that the Cubs make it this year because "The Shark" is pitching for them...GO IRISH!

Yes...We Got Wet Today!

Finally, we got some rain today! It wasn't a ton of rain, but it did get the grass wet and a little green, so that is good! I just hope the million-degree weather this weekend doesn't dry everything up in a second...that wouldn't be any good.

Daddy took me for a ride in my car tonight, but I fell asleep before we got all the way back home! I wanted to stay awake, but I couldn't because Grandma and Granddad wore me out...we played all day and had a great time! I guess it was ok that I fell asleep, because I really was tired, and I had already played hard all day! It is fun when Grandma and Granddad keep me!

The weekend is almost here, so I'll have all kind of fun time with mommy and daddy real soon...yes!

Rain?

Well, I'm still waiting on all of this rain that was forecasted...our yard is so dry that I can't go out and play in it! Plus, the temperature is supposed to be about a million degrees all this weekend and half of next week so we really, really, really need the rain right now!

Enough about rain...I went to Tamara and Brady's pool again today and we had a nice time! I just really like to get in the water and out in the sun! Maybe someday mommy and daddy will have a pool in their back yard...you never know!

Heat Wave

I hope everyone is taking it easy today, because it is burning up hot outside! I really hope it rains tomorrow, a lot of rain, because everything is just dry dry dry! It is so hot outside that it really is hard to keep inside the house cool, and that is no good because I get hot really easy!

I guess the good news is that there are only 3 more work days left this week, and then I get the weekend to spend with my mommy and daddy!

I had a great time at Grandma's birthday dinner on Saturday! Great Aunt Ruthie made some really good pasta, bread, salad and yellow cake, and we all grubbed until we were full as a tick! Grandma got some really nice gifts...a few picture frames, some hand towels and bath towels and dish towels, some other stuff that I can't remember, and the antique bench that we are sitting on in this picture! I know Grandma had a good time that day...now she has the picture frame that I gave her right beside her bed because it has a picture of me in it, and it plays "You Are My Sunshine" when you wind it up! I think she really liked that gift!

It was a good day...Happy Birthday again Grandma!

Where's the Beef?

OK, I'm a growing boy, and when I get hungry I want food right NOW! Don't pull my chain...just feed me! I was hungry tonight so daddy fed me two bottles of food, 4 yogurt melts, 5 puffs and 6 oz of formula...that hit the spot! I was happy as a clown after I ate all of this for my supper...like I said, I am a growing boy!!

Another Car to Ride!

A few days ago I showed you my favorite car to ride in...well, I also have a car to ride in when I'm inside the house...actually, I have a fire engine to ride when I'm in the house!! Sometimes mommy or daddy will push me around the basement while I'm riding on my fire engine...it makes cool sounds and talks! It has a handle on the back that I can hold onto...I'm starting to hold the handle and push at the same time, so it probably won't be a real long time until I start walking!! I can't wait to start walking...that will make me a certified big boy...then I can go outside and romp with daddy...just in time for football season hopefully so we can get out and run some routes...sweet!!

Anyway, this is the second car that I park in my garage...I love it!

Knocked Out with Uncle JP

Uncle JP put me to sleep on the night of my baptism, and then he fell asleep, too! I think we were both worn out that night...it was a long, fun day for both of us!

Last night I went to bed at 6:30 P.M. and I didn't wake up until 7:00 this morning!! Can you believe that?!? I slept for more than 12 hours...I've never done that before in my life! I tell you what, I was completely worn out...I didn't take a nap all day, I wasn't feeling well because I have teeth coming in, and I was having such a good time playing in my house that I just didn't go to sleep at all! When daddy got home, mommy asked if he could try to get me to sleep, so we got on the couch, just like Uncle JP and I in this picture. It took a while (I was fighting sleep like I always do!) but daddy finally worked his magic and got me to close my eyes! After that, I was out like a light!! I felt so much better today...yes!!

My First Car

Check me out in my first new car!! Mommy bought me this after she saw that one that her friend had...I'm glad mommy saw it, because I love this thing! Sometimes I ride with both hands on the steering wheel, sometimes with only one hand on the steering wheel, and sometimes with both hands on my knees...really, I just pick the most comfortable way to ride, and that is what I do! I haven't seen any cute nine month olds to take for a ride yet, but if I keep getting out, I'm sure I'll find someone.

I went down and saw grandma and granddad last night, and tonight I went to see GG and Aunt Ruthie...they all thought my new car was too cool!

I have my nine month pictures tomorrow morning...I hope it isn't too hot, because we're doing them outside...I hope they turn out well. I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Fireman Everett

I'm glad that the coolest dude in the neighborhood, Fireman Everett, came to my baptism!! He and Lori brought me this awesome fire engine that I can ride on and play with...it is so much fun! I wear my "future fireman" t-shirt that he got me and ride around on my new fire engine in the basement!

Papa Pat talked mommy into feeding me a little cake after my baptism...I LOVED IT!! Granddad was holding me, mommy was feeding me, Papa Pat was taking the pictures and daddy was laughing! I can't wait until my birthday gets here so I can have some more cake!! Daddy kept talking about Uncle JP's first birthday cake, and how he dug into it with both of his hands...I hope mommy lets me do the same thing, but I bet she doesn't. Baptism

We had a great day yesterday for the baptism! Deacon Joe did a
great job, and a lot of my family and friends were there! When we came home we had a great time! We had two tents in the backyard, and there were tables set up, and there were flowers on the tables, and there was all kinds of good food to eat! The weather was perfect, too! It was a great day, and I'm glad that now I'm baptized!

OK, so I'm getting into everything that I can get my hands on, but it is so much fun!! Once I learned how to stand up by myself, then I could see the world from a whole new perspective! I got to visit with Tate, Reed, and Dawson yesterday....mommy watched all of us for a little while because Donna had to work and Kim had to do some shopping. We all had a really good time together! Since mommy got to watch all of us, now she has the "I want to stay home" itch like she did last year. Daddy just chuckles and asks mommy what she is thinking...I think she's thinking good things, because I like it when mommy watches me, but I know that mommy likes her work, too! Who knows, maybe mommy can get a part-time job at the gas station to help pay the bills!

Anyway, I'm swinging right now while there is thunder and lightning outside!! I hope we get some more rain, because we really do need more.

I can't wait to see my friend, Theresa, at my baptism this Sunday! I think we're going to have a little bash at our house after the ceremony is over, so we'll get to have some fun together. I miss her and Roger, since I haven't seen them since our Florida trip! I bet we'll all have a big time this weekend!

I think daddy is going to set up a bunch of tents in the back yard so everyone can keep out of the sun! I bet we'll have some cornhole games out there, so there will be some fun stuff to do outside. I really can't believe it, but I am so excited...mommy is going to have a baby! I'm going to be a big brother!!! The baby is due on January 1, so I've still got about 6 months to be an only child, but after that I'll have to share mommy and daddy...I kind of like that, though, because then I'll be a big brother and I'll get to teach my brother or sister how to be a good kid like me!!

Oh yeah, in just a few short hours I will be on my way to go see Papa Pat and Grancilla! Mommy said we are going to go to their new house so I can romp, since there isn't any furniture in there yet...I can't wait! I bet Papa and Grancilla won't believe how big I've gotten...I do so much more than I did the last time I saw them...I crawl, I pull up, I sit myself up, I'm all over the place, and I've got a new tooth! Hopefully we go somewhere to eat where there are other young ladies so I can show my new top tooth off! It makes me look so handsome!

I think we'll get back to town sometime on Wednesday, and then I think we're going to turn around and go to Bowling Green for part of the weekend! I know we're going to visit the Hewitts for a bit, and they are excited to see all of us! We're excited to see them, too!

All in all, the next few days should be quite an adventure!!

Here is the view from the condo we stayed in while we visited Florida! We could see the bay, a pond, a golf hole and the Baytowne Wharf...it really was a nice view! I think we were about to go out and get some supper in this picture, but I can't remember for sure! Whatever it was, I know we had a really good time!

We're hoping for more rain tonight...our lawns and the farmer's crops really need it bad! I just hope that we don't get severe weather, because then mommy gets scared, we have to go to the basement, and sometimes our stuff gets messed up...that's no good!

I can't wait to go see Papa Pat and Grancilla on Tuesday! I know we're going to have a great time in Newburgh, and I have a great Father's Day gift to give to Papa (even though it is late!!). Wow, am I worn out! I just got done sleeping for 2 hours...I was worn out from going to Tamara and Brady's pool, and then grocery shopping, with mommy. I needed a nap bad, and I took one!!

Mommy took me to the pool today, and we had a nice time! I think we're both going to be able to keep our tans really nice and dark. I don' t think daddy will be so lucky since he works inside all day! I guess he'll just have to make up for it on the weekends!

I can't wait until the Fourth of July so we can see some fireworks, just like we did at Baytowne Wharf in Florida! One of the pictures in the slideshow shows me and daddy looking up at the fireworks...I really did like them a lot, even though they were loud!

We made it back safe and sound from our Florida trip, but man am I worn out!! Mommy and me just crashed and burned a few hours ago...I bet we end up taking at least a 3 hour nap!!

Beach Bum

OK, so daddy hasn't posted since we've been in Florida, and he says he is so very sorry! He has good reasons, but that is no excuse! I told daddy that he has to get beach pictures on the web ASAP, so he is going to post either tonight or sometime tomorrow morning!!

Just so everyone knows, the weather has been pretty good and we are having a great time!! We have spent a lot of time at the pool...I liked the beach, but there isn't a bunch for me to do down there since I can't walk yet!! I love the pool, though!! If I was a golfer we could go play everyday...there are 4 golf courses in our place, and they are NICE!!

I think we're going down to Grayton Beach tonight...we'll eat at The Red Bar, then go visit Seaside and Rosemary Beach!! That will be a blast!! I think we may go to the outlet mall tonight, too, so mommy can buy me a bunch of nice clothes (what a surprise!!)

I've seen a bunch of cute 7 and 8 month old girls, but we can't walk yet so all we do is blabber at each other and beat our hands on our strollers...at least they all knew I was talking to them by the way I squealed...Talk to everyone later!

Here is a picture of a bunch of us at the Louisville Bats game several weeks ago. It is hard to believe that it was kind of chilly in this picture, because right now it is miserable outside! I was just excited to hang out with Great Aunt Janet and Uncle JP at the game...we had a great time! I wanted JP to go grab the homerun ball that landed in front of us on the lawn, but he didn't want to get up, and neither did daddy...I guess that was best, because some other old dude got in trouble for running over a little kid to get the homerun ball...daddy can just go buy me a ball and that will be fine with me!!

I hope we go back to the ballpark this summer...I really like baseball, and I like seeing Great Aunt Janet!

Big Boy!

Mommy and me stayed home all day today and relaxed...it was just too darn hot outside to do much of anything!! It sounds like it is going to stay just as hot for the next 7 days or so...I guess we'll just have to suck it up, get hot, and go to the pool tomorrow! The good news is, it is the pool, so we can get in the water and cool off...yes!

We only have 8 days left until we leave for our vacation in Florida! I can't wait!! Mommy ordered me a pair of Teva sandals to wear, so I know I'll look good for the ladies (I guess you can call a cute 7 month old girl a "lady"?). Anyway, I know that mommy will spend all kinds of time packing good looking clothes for me...she always wants me to look like a dude! I can't wait!!!!

I don't think daddy and JP won any money, but we all still had a nice time! Can you believe that we left the races and went across town to the Louisville Bats game!! Schools Out for Sammy!

Well, not really, but I get to stay at my house every day for a long time now since school is almost out! Grandma and granddad are going to watch me tomorrow and Friday, and then mommy will keep all the other days because she will be done with work for the summer...YES!! I bet she'll be taking me to the pool all the time, and I bet I'll get to hang out with Reed and Brady all the time too! I may even get to see Roger some of the time when he comes over to visit! I wish Roger was smaller...then he could get in my pool with me! If we both got in there, though, I think we would break the pool, and that wouldn't be good at all!

Well, I'll go for now. Daddy is going to "read names" at the benefit walk on Friday night, and then we're going to Chelsi's graduation party on Sunday...our weekend is going to be pretty fun!

Rain Rain...Don't Go Away!

I hope the rain will hurry up and get here! My daddy has been complaining that our grass is already getting dry, and this is before it even gets hot outside. I think it is supposed to rain pretty hard tonight, so I'm excited about that, and I bet daddy is, too!

Mommy stayed home with me today. She wasn't feeling well, and neither one of us slept very well last night. The good news is that the school year is almost over, so we'll get to spend a lot more mornings together pretty soon!

I'm not really liking my "meat" right now, but mommy and daddy are still feeding it to me because I'm a growing boy and I need the nutrition. Yucky right now, but yummy sometime soon, I hope!

4 Day Work Week

I'm really excited because this is only a 4 day work week for mommy and daddy...plus, this is my mommy's last week of work before summer break! Sweet!! I'm sure that mommy will take me to the swim and fitness pool all of the time...we'll probably go visit Reed and Kim, and maybe Brady and Tamara, too! We will have loads of fun! I'll get to wear my swimmer diapers, and I'll practice in my little back yard pool so when I go to the big pool I won't be scared at all! Bring it on!

I've started to try to say "baby"...and, tonight I ate a "meat" for the very first time...chicken and gravy!! I had to get used to it...it was kind of yucky, so mommy mixed it with bananas! I'll get used to it pretty soon and keep grubbing, grubbing, grubbing!!

I'd like to wish everyone a Happy Memorial Day! The weather is great so far, so I'm sure that everyone is really enjoying the outdoors a lot! Mommy and daddy bought me a little pool and some water toys, and I got to go swimming today...we had an absolute BLAST! I fell down in the water a few times, but I got up laughing...I love the water! I'm going to eat up this summer with mommy...we'll go to the pool at Swim and Fitness all the time, and we're going to have a HUGE time in Florida!

Big Stuff

Ok, so I have learned to crawl (army style), but that is not enough for me...I also have to learn how to pull myself up! I've been climbing all over mommy and daddy, and I've been pulling myself up on my changing table, on the dresser, on my crib, and on everything else that I can get my hands on. Now, I'm not able to stand up on my feet when I pull myself up, but I can get to my knees! I'm able to look at stuff and get my hands on stuff that I couldn't even imagine existed just a few days ago!! I love this growing up stuff! Once I learn how to get on my feet, watch out! I'll be getting to wherever I want to go, and quick!

I've been really trying hard to say bye-bye and wave my hand, too! Mommy and daddy are really working with me to learn this, so if you ever see me out, you can try it out too and see if I have learned how to do it yet!

I can't wait until the weekend! Mommy and daddy are going to get an extra day off, which means we are going to have another day of fun. Plus, the weather is supposed to be phenomenal, so I bet we will be outside the entire weekend...sweet!!

Boy, have I been on the move this weekend! Since I've learned how to do the army crawl I am all over the place...I just like to get around and see what the world has to offer! When I can't get to where I want to go it makes me mad, too, so I start grunting and turning red until someone moves the stuff out of my way and lets me get to where I want to go. I'm trying to pull myself up on stuff now, too, so I bet it will only be about 3 months before I'm walking...holy cow! I'll make mommy and daddy double tired then, but they have so much fun trying to keep up with me!!!

Since the weather has been so nice, mommy has been taking me for walks in the evening. Daddy has been working in the yard, so he hasn't been able to walk with us...Tamara and Brady have been walking with us instead! It is so much fun when they walk with us...Brady has really grown a lot...I can't wait until we are both big enough to get out in the yard and run around!!

I can't wait until the football season finally gets here! I've got a feeling that the Irish may be better than everyone thinks...I'm not going to make any predictions, but I sure hope we're as good as I think we'll be.

My daddy worked in the yard for 2 1/2 hours tonight, and I know he's really tired now. I bet he'll have to do just as much work tomorrow night since he still has to mow the back yard and put the new mulch down...yuck! When he gets done, though, the yard is going to look great!

I went to the doctor today and got another round of shots....I weighed 19 lbs 2 ozs...I'm in the 75% for height, 65% for weight...Daddy thinks I'm going to be a wide receiver or tight end...fast as lightning!!

I am so excited that weekend is finally here!! This means that I will be able to spend a bunch more time with my mommy and daddy...splendid!! I'm also excited that this is Mother's Day weekend...we got mommy a really cool gift, but I can't tell what it is yet...we got mommy some Crocs for Mother's Day, too, but daddy couldn't wait until the weekend to give them to her, so she's already been wearing them...daddy is funny like that!!

Mommy is going to have breakfast with her girlfriends tomorrow (Kim, Donna and Tamara) for mommy's birthday...Kim got all of that together for mommy...they are going to eat at the Cracker Barrel. I'll bet a bunch of my toys that mommy takes me with her...she can't leave me at all!!

I'm also excited because we are going to the horse races and the baseball game tomorrow!!! We are going to have a blast....Uncle JP is going with us, so you know a bunch of fun is going to be had!!! SSSWWWWEEEETTTTTT!!!!

Gadd Visit

My cousins, the Gadds, are going to visit me tomorrow night and I'm real excited about that! I'll get to see Grace, Carson, Preston and Aunt Tiffany, and I'm sure that we'll all have a great time! Mommy and daddy are cleaning up the house, of course, to get ready for the visit, and I think that is pretty silly since the house is clean almost all the time. Oh well, that's just how mommy is, so I guess we'll be cleaning all night long!! Yuck!

High Chair

Here is a picture of me sitting in a high chair for the first time in my life! We were at the Roca Bar in Owensboro (a restaurant, not a night club) meeting Papa Pat and Grancilla for dinner. I didn't fall around or anything...I just sat up like a big boy, played with my toys, grunted and whined when I wanted something, and made people in the restaurant look at me...I had so much fun!!

We had a good time at Grandma and Granddads this weekend...they had a birthday cookout for mommy and it was fun!! Daddy won all his cornhole games and ate until he was fat, and I got to take a bunch of rides in my running stroller!! Of course, mommy got a bunch of presents that she loved (she is soooo spoiled!!) and had some good strawberry cake to eat. She also got a balloon and a happy birthday banner, and so much stuff that I can't remember it all! I just know we had a great time!!

I can't wait till my first birthday...I bet mommy and daddy throw me a bash!!

Well, daddy finally got the Spring Game slideshows up and running...thank goodness! I think mommy really liked her gift today...we got her a brand new digital camera, and it is nice! Roger gave daddy some good advice about the camera, so I think now I won't ever have red-eye in my pictures!

I had so much fun visiting with Papa Pat and Grancilla...they brought me a really cool toy doggy to play with...I kept trying to put it in my mouth, but it didn't taste good and I made funny faces that everyone thought was funny! I love seeing my grandparents.

Well, happy birthday again, Mommy!!!!! Me and Daddy LOVE YOU!!

Daddy says sorry for not posting anything for several days...we were in Indiana on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and we were outside all night last night. Daddy promises to get some get pictures and slideshows up soon!

Sorry there wasn't a post yesterday -- daddy's server was down...

I had a great weekend...I got to visit with Reed and Brady, too! Daddy will put up another picture later that shows all of us together. We all had such a good time!! Reed is a big boy...he is 5 weeks younger than me, but he is a whopper with long fingers and big hands, and he is tall...wow!!

We rolled around in the floor and played with blocks and talked to each other...it was really fun and I can't wait to do it again soon!

I hope everyone has a great week...I'm getting fired up for the Notre Dame spring game this weekend!

Picture Day

Well, today is my 6 month picture day, so I'll have more modeling practice this afternoon. I'm sure mommy will have Jason take all kinds of nice photos of me...mommy loves pictures! I guess I'm starting to like pictures, too, since so many get taken of me all the time!

I'm also getting excited about this coming weekend...we are going to Notre Dame's Spring Game! Daddy has already told me we are getting pictures at the Grotto, under the Golden Dome, under the cathedral door that reads "God, Country, Notre Dame", under Touchdown Jesus, and in the stadium...wow, that is a BUNCH of pictures, but I'm sure daddy will print them out, put them in frames, and hang them in his office!

One more thing...I hope Tiger turns it on this weekend at The Masters and wins his 14th major championship!

Guess what?!? I started saying my da das tonight! I'm not sure how to spell that yet, but I'm making the first sounds that make sense..dada!

I really enjoyed the nice warm days this week, but now I'm getting ready for the bad storms and cooler weather this weekend....oh well, at least I got a couple of nice days during mommy's spring break!
